Contract/Fixed Term Contract
Our exploration mining and resources client are looking for an engaged and motivated Native Title, Heritage and Access Advisor to join their team.
We are seeking expressions of interest within Western Australia.
About the Role
This role is a 6 months fixed term contract with a potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
WHF work arrangement options are available. There will be occasional site-visits (when required).

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate Aboriginal cultural heritage surveys / clearances etc (in conjunction with sites)
- Lead, in conjunction with relevant Anglo American stakeholders, Aboriginal cultural heritage and native title agreement negotiations
- Advise on and provide support to sites with respect to native title claims and/or compensation matters
- Advise site-based teams on the implementation of Cultural Heritage Management Plans/Agreements
- Provide recommendations for Aboriginal cultural heritage and native title management as business requirements and internal/external stakeholder expectations evolve
- Liaise with Traditional Owner groups in conjunction with relevant Anglo American stakeholders
- Advise and provide support to sites in respect to implementation of native title agreements
- Advise on land and resource tenure application and renewal requirements with respect to native title
- Monitor and support, in conjunction with relevant Anglo American stakeholders, Cultural Heritage Management Plan/Agreement review requirement
