Mine Surveyor

$175,000 – $190,000 per year
Our client is an Australian based gold producer with multiple projects up and running in Western Australia. They are looking for to employ a Mine Surveyor to join their team at their open pit mine.
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will be responsible for:
- Carry out all operational survey requirements in a timely manner
- Carry out end of month reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey plans of the mine
- Maintain and improve survey database and procedures
- Perform UAV flights for surface surveys
- Promote HSEC values and a strong safety culture on site

About You
- Tertiary qualification in surveying.
- Operation of sub 25kg UAV’s
- RePL/ARoC to operate UAV’s commercially.
- Good working knowledge of surveying software including, Surpac, Trimble Business Center and Quickslope.
- 3+ Years of open cut mining experience
- Experienced with photogrammetry software for processing UAV data, Metashape/Pix4.
- Enthusiastic attitude and initiative team player.
- Current WA class C manual driver’s licence
- Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen
- Full work rights in Australia
